Other
Don graduated from Miami University of Ohio and Harvard Law School. He has dedicated his practice to representing victims of personal injury including employee injuries, product liability, medical malpractice, train accidents, wrongful death, and motor vehicle accident victims. Don utilizes his extensive experience in litigating personal injury cases to protect the rights of severely injured clients, including cases involving brain injuries to infants and adults, harm resulting from negligent medical procedures and treatment, and in representing families who have suffered the wrongful death of a loved one. His clients have received more than eighteen million dollars in settlements and verdicts.
Don is willing to pursue defendants who have injured his clients with aggressiveness and a strong desire to obtain the truth. Recently he conducted more than 45 depositions in a case before the defendant finally agreed to fairly compensate his clients.
Don also values the opportunities to help his clients make a difference in the lives and safety of others beyond the compensation they receive for their injuries. For example, as part of a recent settlement Don was able to obtain agreement by a hospital that led to the adoption of nursing policies designed by his families' expert to help avoid anyone else from suffering the tragic loss of a loved one that they had to suffer.
Before attending law school, Don served as a Legislative Assistant in the Ohio House of Representatives seeking lower utility rates, developing energy assistance programs for older and disabled persons, and advocating for the needs and interests of Ohioans.
When Don is not hard at work protecting the rights of injury victims, he spends time with his wife and his two children.
